STORY
Athletes Edge was founded in 2007 by Thomas "TJ" Snyder LMT and is based out of Kalamazoo Michigan. TJ will be the only Massage Therapist that you will receive a massage from when scheduling an appointment with Athletes Edge Massage. The business is locally family owned and operated and in the process of growing.
The family consist of Thomas "TJ, his wife Laurieal; his 2 children Trinity (16) & Devon (26); and their 2 Pitbull's, 2 Doberman, and 1 pocket bully pit all of which are rescues; Attis (11 y/o rescue & face of the business), Khaleesi (5 y/o rescue), Drogon (4 y/o rescue), Athena (1 y/o rescue), Rhaenyra (1 y/o rescue), and Brea (5 y/o Rescue) who has passed. When they are not working; or building the AEM brand he loves to watch his daughter and her travel softball team play around the region, he likes to travel; work out at the gym, and to spend time at home with his kids and dogs.

Meet the Family
TJ & Laurieal
Trinity
TJ works full time as the only massage therapist at Athletes Edge Massage. Laurieal works fulltime as a Manager for a RCM Pharmacy & Infusion billing team as well as is the founder of Rebellion Fit Unlimited. When they are not working; or building the AEM brand they love to watch their daughter and her softball team play around the region, they like to travel; work out at the gym, and to spend time at home.
Trinity loves to play with her school Softball Team at Portage North High School. She also is the artist behind the second logo for Athletes Edge Massage that
made its debut in 2021 and has become the brand logo for AEM in 2025. Trinity is getting ready to enter her senior year of high school.
Drogon
Athena & Rhaenyra
Brea is the 3rd of the rescues adopted by the family; and loves traveling with the family and enjoying her mulligan at life. She has since passed. (2024)
Athena is the 5th rescue to be welcomed to the family. She is bossy, a diva, and princess and knows it. She talks back and is stubborn. She is a 1.5 y/o Doberman mix. (Mom is thankful she is tiny and not the size of her brother.
Rhaenyra is the 6th and FINAL rescue to be welcomed into the Snyder home. She is a 1 y/o pocket bully mix. She is a tank and loves causing trouble; but in the nighttime becomes the biggest snuggle bug you could ever meet.
Attis & Khaleesi
Attis and Khaleesi are 2 of 3 proud rescues adopted by the family and loving their second chance at life and both competing for the Alpha spot. (Attis Won but we dont tell Her that)
ATTIS is also the Logo of the buisness and the first in the family to be rescued.
Brea
Brea is the 3rd of the rescues adopted by the family; and loves traveling with the family and enjoying her mulligan at life. She has since passed. (2024)
